History of Study Programs

The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Kuningan University (UNIKU), previously named the Kuningan College of Economics (STIE), officially joined Kuningan University in 2003 through the Decree of the Sang Adipati Kuningan Education Foundation Number 041/UNIKU/KNG/KP/2003 dated July 17, 2003 concerning the Establishment of the Faculty of Economics, Kuningan University. The Accounting Study Program itself has been established since July 26, 1995 based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education Number 059/D/O/1995.

Currently, the Accounting Study Program has obtained “A” accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) through Decree Number 4855/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/VIII/2020. This study program is committed to continuously improving the quality of learning and student competence.

As part of these efforts, the Accounting Study Program has established cooperation with the Indonesian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (IAPI). This cooperation aims to facilitate the improvement of student competence, enrich insight and practical experience in the field of accounting, and support the development of professionalism for both students and graduates.
